IN HIS INTENSE PERIPLUS AROUND THE WORLD, HE RECORDED A SERIES OF DISCS, REACHING THE QUANTITY OF 50, IN WHICH THE MUSIC OF NEW LATIN AMERICAN COMPOSERS ALWAYS GIVEN PREPONDERING PLACE. He is the author of several works such as Trio for Vaughan Williams (1957), Sonata for piano (1960), Symphony number 1 Classical (1962), Sonata for cello (1966) among others. He was distinguished with the 1972 Golden Lira and the 1975 Elías Sourasky Award. He was a former colleague member of the National College of Mexico on August 9, 1984.
